The Role
We are looking for a Mid-Level Java Developer with a solid background in Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (especially AWS), and Unix systems. You’ll be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering robust and scalable solutions for our clients, leveraging modern DevOps practices and cloud-native technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable Java-based applications and services.
- Contribute to the design, development, and deployment of containerised applications using Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with cloud engineers to design and implement AWS-based solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable code and contribute to code reviews and agile ceremonies.
- Perform troubleshooting, monitoring, and performance tuning on Unix-based environments.
- Occasionally script or automate tasks using Python.
What You Bring
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, configuration).
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud services.
- Exposure to Python scripting (basic to intermediate level).
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with IBM CloudPak for Data.
- Familiarity with Apache Spark or Hadoop.
- Background in working with large-scale data platforms.
