You’ll understand how delivery teams operate, work with stakeholders to map requirements, and shape practical, scalable solutions across multiple toolsets. You’ll contribute across a range of transformation projects, bringing structure and clarity to complex delivery environments. You’ll also support internal capability development and help grow Valcon’s tooling and delivery propositions.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead solution analysis work across delivery tooling, with Jira as a core strength
- Gather and translate business needs into tool and process design, across agile and hybrid models
- Configure or guide configuration of Jira to support delivery governance, workflows, and reporting
- Analyse existing delivery practices and recommend improvements across tooling, process, and structure
- Work across related platforms (e.g. Confluence, DevOps tools, resource planning tools, reporting dashboards)
- Run workshops, gap as-is and to-be processes, and align tools to business needs
- Support delivery teams in adopting tools and ways of working
- Contribute to internal accelerators, methods, and capability build in the tooling space
- Coach and guide analysts and client-side teams where required
What You’ll Bring:
- Hands-on experience with Jira in a solution analyst, delivery, or tooling-focused role
- Strong understanding of delivery practices and how tools support visibility, governance, and flow
- Ability to work across toolsets and adapt to client-specific platforms (e.g. Azure DevOps, SAP, ServiceNow)
- Confident working with stakeholders to draw out and define requirements
- Experience designing and improving delivery workflows and tooling setups
- Strong communication and facilitation skills
- Background in consultancy and transformation
Desirable:
- Jira certifications or equivalent practical experience
- Experience with reporting and integration
- Familiarity with agile delivery at scale (e.g. SAFe, LeSS)
- Broader interest in tooling strategy, DevOps practices, or delivery optimisation
We offer you:
The opportunity to work in a diverse and international environment with an informal culture, with a flat hierarchy, in which we cooperate across business areas and levels. We care about results, first and foremost. We care about people and how we can constantly challenge each other to become better. Your background is less important to us than your ability to create results, to create change. We prize excellence and ingenuity but know that both have to be grounded in reality. The reality of making our clients ready for the future.
