We are seeking an experienced Operating Model and Data Strategy Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and refining operating models and data strategies that align with client goals, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision-making. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of operating models and data strategies, ensuring alignment with broader business and technology objectives.
• Provide data operating model design expertise, guiding clients on how to structure and manage their data capabilities effectively.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for operating models and data strategies, bringing market insights and best practices to support client opportunities.
• Define proposal response requirements and the key storyline.
• Bring outside-in best practices and trends from the market to proposals.
• Shape the overall solution—approach, team, and pricing.
• Prepare and help lead orals as required.
• Support/lead the development of thought leadership, propositions, and go-to-market assets.

Application of Relevant Tools and Techniques:

• Capability mapping, data strategy development, and data operating model design
• Organisation sizing, governance, role design, and development of business cases
• Requirements gathering, customer journey mapping, process mapping
• Agile methodologies and lean techniques

Key Areas of Contribution

• Redesign how services operate to optimise the customer experience through digital and data capabilities.
• Lead and plan the execution of overall work stream(s) necessary for the delivery of programmes using the appropriate methodology.
• Develop and present meaningful and practical insights and recommendations, based on robust evidence and data analysis, that can withstand client scrutiny.
• Work collaboratively with team members and clients to rapidly understand and define business challenges and potential solutions.
• Apply a fact-based approach to shape and solve complex problems.
• Provide data operating model advice, focusing on the integration of data strategies within broader operating models.
• Present operating model and data strategy options, and lead the design and implementation across various sectors.

Experience Required

• Experience insales, business development, and delivery.
• Strong background in operating model and data strategy design and implementation.
• Ability to support clients through strategic decisions by assessing and advising on relevant operating model dimensions.
