Valayo is partnering with a prestigious organisation in Bermuda to appoint a senior specialist into a high-profile role focused on advanced analytics, business intelligence and data-driven strategy. This is a unique opportunity offering broad exposure across complex business and risk environments, combining advanced analytics, strategic oversight, stakeholder engagement and team leadership responsibilities.
The successful individual will play a key role in developing and embedding sophisticated analytical capabilities across the firm, ensuring that data, insights and workflows are effectively integrated into operational and strategic decision-making processes. The role will also involve managing a small technical team whilst contributing to the development of innovative analytical and intelligence frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and embedding advanced analytical frameworks across business workflows
- Translating complex data into actionable insights that support strategic and operational decisions
- Applying advanced analytics and causal analysis techniques to improve business outcomes
- Designing processes that integrate data, models and workflows into end-to-end operational frameworks
- Monitoring and improving analytical effectiveness, transparency and governance
- Applying systems thinking and scenario analysis to assess interconnected risks and opportunities
- Supporting the implementation of advanced technologies including AI, machine learning and predictive analytics
- Collaborating with stakeholders across technical and business functions on strategic initiatives
- Managing and mentoring a small technical and analytical team
- Driving continuous improvement across analytical, operational and intelligence capabilities
- Supporting long-term planning through horizon scanning, scenario analysis and forward-looking insights
