Reinsurance Pricing Specialist - Property Treaty (Actuarial qualification not required)
Valayo are partnering with a leading Lloyd’s (re)insurer looking to hire a Reinsurance Pricing Specialist into its high-performing Property Treaty team. Actuarial qualification is not required.
The role focuses on Property Treaty Reinsurance across QS, CAT XL and Risk XL, with exposure to business written across both the UK and North America.
You’ll work closely with experienced underwriters across both individual deal and portfolio pricing. This is a highly commercial role, where you’ll be expected to understand the portfolio, contribute to underwriting decisions and help shape pricing strategy, rather than simply building models in the background.
Alongside BAU pricing, you’ll get involved in portfolio and segment analysis, performance monitoring, pricing model development (HX), and improving pricing methodologies and processes.
They’re looking for someone with reinsurance pricing experience, ideally with some exposure to Property during their career. They’re flexible on actuarial qualification, so you could be FIA, part-qualified or have chosen not to pursue the exams.
