We are working with a leading London Market insurer looking to hire a Marine Pricing Actuary to join their team based in London (3 days in office), with one of the largest Marine portfolios in the market. This role will report directly to the Head of Marine Pricing. It is a globally focused position, interacting with underwriters and actuaries in North America, LATAM, and APAC.
Responsibilities:
- Case pricing and portfolio analysis for the book.
- Development and enhancement of pricing tools (hx).
- Managing junior analysts and overseeing day‑to‑day team operations.
Qualifications:
- Exam‑qualified or Chartered Actuary with a strong academic track record (Degree and A‑Level results).
- Extensive case pricing experience.
- Experience with London Market pricing backgrounds or Marine/Specialty Liability lines from a Commercial Lines insurer.
- Proficiency in Python/R advantageous.
- Potential visa sponsorship for UK‑based actuaries.
