Are you an experienced Pricing Actuary or Senior Pricing Actuary (4-8y post-qualified experience) looking to step into a leadership role while remaining close to the technical work?

This is an opportunity to lead a high-performing pricing team, partner closely with underwriters and shape pricing strategy across an international Financial Lines portfolio.

Valayo are working with a leading global insurer looking to appoint a Senior Pricing Actuary into their London team.

This is a broad, commercially focused pricing role covering an international Financial Lines portfolio.

You'll work closely with underwriters on both portfolio management and complex case pricing, while helping to drive pricing strategy, profitability and business performance across multiple territories.

Alongside day-to-day pricing work, you'll be involved in portfolio reviews, pricing model development, business planning and a range of strategic analytical projects.

The team is also investing heavily in modern pricing capabilities, giving you the opportunity to work with advanced analytics, automation initiatives and next-generation pricing tools.

The actuarial team has built a strong reputation within the business and works as a trusted partner with senior leadership and underwriting.

You'll be joining a collaborative, technically strong environment where actuaries play an active role in shaping underwriting strategy and commercial decision-making.

They're particularly interested in candidates with Financial Lines pricing experience who enjoy combining technical excellence with commercial thinking.

Strong programming skills in R, Python or similar analytical tools would be advantageous.
