We are working with a leading Lloyd's syndicate looking to hire a Capital Modelling Manager into their growing Risk & Capital team. This role reports directly to the Head of Capital, offering you the opportunity to manage a small team whilst playing a key role in the development, governance and regulatory delivery of the Internal Model.

The role combines technical capital modelling work with responsibility to manage 2 individuals, giving you ownership of regulatory capital submissions, internal model developments, business planning analysis and wider strategic initiatives. You'll work closely with stakeholders across Risk, Actuarial, UW and Finance, helping to ensure the Internal Model remains a core decision-making tool across the business.

The team has seen significant investment over the past 12 months, with multiple hires, internal promotions and further growth planned. They're looking for someone with strong Lloyd's market experience, ideally around 2+ years PQE and 5-8 years' actuarial experience overall. Strong Igloo skills (or any IM experience) are essential, alongside some prior people management or mentoring experience.
