This is a high-profile Capital leadership opportunity within a major London Market organisation.
You would take responsibility for a large Capital function, with oversight across capital and a significant model change programme.
The remit goes well beyond running the existing capital model. You would have a major role in shaping the future capital framework, including the development and evolution of the Internal Model, capital strategy, risk appetite and the way capital insights are used across the wider business.
There is also significant exposure across other areas including reserving, reinsurance, investments, catastrophe risk and wider risk management, with the Capital function playing an important role in bringing those different views together and challenging how risk is reflected across the organisation.
You would also lead through a period of significant regulatory and model change, with responsibility for senior regulatory engagement and ensuring the Capital function continues to support both strategic decision-making and the organisation’s wider risk framework.
What makes the role particularly interesting is the variety of work involved. You will be leading experienced technical specialists, reviewing and challenging work, influencing senior decision-makers and acting as the senior Capital SME across a number of major business initiatives.
