Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensures accurate Human Resource Information System records by actively coordinating HR data management activities.
- Assists with internal and external HR related enquiries or requests.
- Responsible for updating HCM Cloud with Contract Worker details.
- Focal point for Valaris programs and helps with recruitment for programs.
- Helps support new hire inductions as and when required.
- Helps support recruitment process as and when required.
- Helps support HR Business Partners to source absence cover either internally or through the use of local recruitment agencies.
- Attends meetings and takes minutes.
- Covers for HR Business Partners when out of the office or on annual leave.
- Participates in the HR on call rota.
- Prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and presentations.
- Prepares presentations for the HR department, as required.
- Complies with safety policies and procedures.
- Works on special projects, as assigned.
- Facilitates special projects, as assigned within their client group.
- Miscellaneous tasks, as assigned.
- Keeps up-to-date with HR best practices and employment law.
Qualifications / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
- Preferred HR Professional Certification such as SHRM or CIPD or equivalent.
- Minimum of zero to two (0-2) years of HR experience or in a similar role.
