Working directly with senior leadership, you will play a key role in shaping our marketing activity, strengthening our digital presence and supporting the continued expansion of the Valantus brand.
Based in our office in Wedmore, Somerset, part-time or flexible hours would be considered.
The Role
As Marketing & Growth Manager, you will lead and deliver marketing initiatives that increase brand visibility, drive engagement, generate leads and support business development activity across our growing portfolio of services.
You will take ownership of our digital marketing strategy, Linked In presence, website development, content creation, campaign performance and growth initiatives, while embracing AI-powered tools to improve marketing effectiveness and productivity.
Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Brand Development
- Develop and deliver the annual marketing strategy aligned with business growth objectives.
- Create and manage quarterly marketing plans and campaign calendars.
- Identify target audiences, customer personas and market opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform marketing activity.
- Manage and continuously improve the company website, including SEO strategy.
- Drive brand awareness and enhance Valantus' market presence.
- Produce high-quality marketing materials and communications.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels.
- Support award submissions, accreditations and public relations opportunities.
- Manage external agencies, freelancers and suppliers.
- Linked In & Digital Marketing
- Manage and grow the Valantus Linked In Company Page.
- Create engaging thought leadership content for senior leaders.
- Develop posts, articles, campaigns and video content.
- Increase audience engagement, reach and follower growth.
- Plan and execute lead generation campaigns.
- Monitor, analyse and report on campaign performance.
- Content Creation
- Produce blogs, articles, white papers and case studies.
- Create newsletters, email campaigns and client communications.
- Develop content supporting new services, accreditations and industry developments.
- Support proposal, bid and tender submissions when required.
- Business Growth
- Generate, qualify and nurture leads.
- Support business development and sales activities.
- Research target markets and emerging opportunities.
- Assist with networking events, exhibitions and webinars.
- AI & Marketing Technology
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot, Chat GPT and other AI-powered tools.
- Create AI-assisted content that enhances engagement and productivity.
- Use technology and automation to improve campaign performance.
- Develop efficient marketing workflows and processes.
- 2 years' plus experience in a marketing, business growth or digital marketing role.
- Proven track record of developing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns.
- Experience generating measurable brand awareness and lead generation results.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and act on marketing data.
- Excellent Linked In marketing and content creation experience.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- IT Proficiency with experience using CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
- Experience with Canva or similar design tools.
- Ability to work effectively with external creative, marketing and video production partners.
- Experience within security, compliance, vetting, recruitment or other regulated sectors.
- Experience supporting exhibitions, conferences and industry events.
- Understanding of bid and tender processes.
- Experience with marketing automation platforms.

- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain
BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) clearance .
