A leading, renowned Museum in Central London needs a highly skilled Database Manager for an interim temp role until the end of March 2026, with a possible extension. The organisation is embarking on a significant cultural redevelopment project. Using Raiser’s Edge, you will ensure data accuracy and that information produced is up-to-date and accurate. You will work with a complex database and integrations and collaborate with colleagues to ensure that systems are fit for purpose and ready for the campaign.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy and security of donor and membership data, identifying areas of improvement, innovation and cleaning priorities.
- Implement processes as needed.
- Work closely with the Information Services department, security groups and system improvements and upgrades.
- Support Membership Services on system improvements and ensure the delivery of excellent stewardship, accurate data, and insightful reporting for the Membership Programme.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to implement effective systems and procedures for ensuring data quality and data selections.
- Deliver key data processes, including managing mailing lists, Gift Aid claims, income processing, pulling data for budgeting and communications, and generating accurate financial and non-financial reports.
- Develop and deliver training and support to staff across the Museum, ensuring proficiency in using Raiser’s Edge for fundraising, membership and event activities.
- Work closely with the Head of Department, other connected Heads of Departments, stakeholders and the wider teams including Membership, Information Services, IT and Suppliers.
You will:
- Have an understanding of different forms of charitable and tax efficient giving; understanding of data protection legislation and best practice.
- Be able to prioritise a number of competing responsibilities and stakeholders.
- Have knowledge of CRM systems for fundraising purposes, plus direct debit processing/tools.
- Be an advanced user of Excel for helping process data, mailing lists etc.
- Be a confident Raiser’s Edge user, preferably RE7. Knowledge of Power BI would be an advantage but not essential.
