Experienced CAS Operations Manager needed to lead the delivery of a high-quality, compliant, and customer-focused CAS (Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies) issuance service for international applicants. This role is central to the University’s Student visa sponsorship process, ensuring that CAS are issued accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with UKVI requirements. You will lead a specialist team, oversee complex compliance decisions, and ensure the University maintains strong visa compliance and enrolment outcomes.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the CAS Operations team and manage daily workload, priorities, and performance
- Ensure timely and compliant issuance of CAS under UKVI Student visa requirements
- Oversee detailed applicant checks, including financial, academic, and visa documentation
- Conduct and oversee high-risk applicant assessments, including interviews where required
- Act as institutional lead for the UKVI Sponsor Management System (SMS)
- Lead on CAS Shield system development and ongoing optimisation
- Monitor visa refusal rates, CAS usage, and enrolment outcomes
- Analyse data and advise senior stakeholders on compliance risks and trends
- Ensure CAS processes align with UKVI guidance
