Audit and Accounts Director RI - Responsibilities
Portfolio leadership
- Lead and sign off audits as Responsible Individual.
- Own a balanced portfolio of audit and general practice clients, around 50/50 billable work.
Client advisory
- Act as trusted adviser to owner-managed and SME clients.
- Review accounts and tax work to a high standard before it goes out.
Leadership & team development
- Supervise, review and develop audit and accounts staff.
Business development and strategy
- Help drive new business and contribute to the firm's strategic direction as a future partner.
Audit and Acounts Director RI - Requirements
- ACA / ACCA qualified, holding RI status.
- Proven experience leading audits and signing off as an RI.
- Strong general practice background across accounts and compliance.
- Comfortable managing clients and reviewing the work of others.
- Ambition and commercial appetite to buy into the firm's equity.
