Tax Manager /Senior Tax Manager – North Manchester – £Negotiable, DOE, Flexible Hybrid working, pension scheme Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager Description: A large regional firm of chartered accountants is looking to strengthen its tax division in North Manchester with the appointment of a Tax Manager or Senior Tax Manager. This long-established and successful firm holds an excellent reputation in the North West market and has grown steadily year on year. Working with a highly experienced team, you will support the Partners with a varied portfolio of predominantly OMB clients. Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager Responsibilities: ·You will be delivering tax advisory work including tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, international expansion and reorganisations, demergers, share option schemes, IHT/Estate Planning, MBO\’s and succession planning. ·Deal with HMRC enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research ·Provide a technical resource to smaller associated firms, by phone or email support service ·Support the management, training and development of the tax team ·Have responsibility for operational aspects of the corporate tax compliance process and support members of the team with more complex corporation tax issues Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager Benefits: You will be joining one of Manchester\’s leading firms, which due to growth and succession planning within the tax department, offers the right candidate exceptional opportunities for career progression.
