We are urgently recruiting experienced Reach Truck Drivers (FLT Operators) for an immediate start at a leading manufacturing and distribution facility in Belper, Derbyshire. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking for a stable, long-term warehouse role with afternoon shifts only and the potential to secure a permanent contract.

Pay & Benefits

Shift Pattern (Afternoons Only)

  • Monday - Thursday: 14:30 - 23:00
  • Friday: 12:00 - 18:00
  • Consistent afternoon shift - no rotation
  • Long-term, ongoing work

Key Responsibilities - Reach Truck Driver / FLT Operator

  • Safely operate a Reach Truck (FLT) in a fast-paced warehouse
  • Load, unload, and move stock within the facility
  • Supply production lines with materials (line feeding)
  • Conduct pre-use equipment checks and report defects
  • Maintain strict adherence to health & safety procedures
  • Assist with stock control, replenishment, and inventory movement
  • Support production changeovers
  • Carry out general warehouse duties when required
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace

Requirements

  • A valid Reach Truck Licence (RTITB, ITSSAR, NPORS or equivalent)
  • Minimum 12 months Reach Truck / FLT experience
  • Strong understanding of warehouse health & safety practices
  • Previous experience in warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environments
  • High attention to detail and a safety-first approach
  • Reliability and commitment to long-term work
