The predicted salary is between 36000 - 44000 £ per year.

The successful applicant will work within the department that is responsible for all current model, new product introduction, engineering, and continuous improvement activities within the plant. You will be part of a team of engineers collaborating across functions, from Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and maintenance, both locally and with group colleagues. Driving actions with cross functional teams to improve all KPIs for the plant, ensuring production attainment, efficiency, quality, and scrap reduction objectives are achieved.

Manage and implement engineering change requests from design to production. Support electro-pneumatic production test equipment and monitoring of key plant and process parameters, recommending data derived corrective actions as required. Working with NPI Project engineers to implement new products and process improvements to existing and new production lines.

A background in a Mechanical / Electrical / Process engineering discipline is required and the relevant practical experience in a manufacturing environment. Ideally educated to degree level but individuals with HNC, relevant qualifications and industrial experience will be considered. Experience of automated assembly management systems and production IT systems.

A proven track record as a process / manufacturing engineer delivering significant value to an organisation and having a sense of urgency to deliver to your internal customers solutions on time and to requirement. Ability to work effectively and communicate with cross-functional teams and being a key team player is essential to this role; you will need to have good interpersonal skills and be a proactive engineer able to work with all levels of an organisation. Possess a practical approach to problem solving using A3 / 8D problem solving methodology, analytical with experience of robust data driven decisions.
