Based at a modern, highly automated manufacturing site near Belper, this role offers the chance to work with advanced machinery in a well-structured environment, supported by a collaborative and experienced engineering team.

The Role As part of the on-site engineering team, you'll play a key role in maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of production equipment.
Key duties include: Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and responding to breakdowns Diagnosing faults across both electrical and mechanical systems Working with PLC-controlled equipment, drives, motors, sensors, and pneumatics Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives Updating maintenance activities within a CMMS system Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site standards Collaborating closely with production and engineering teams About You We're looking for a proactive and motivated engineer who enjoys working in a modern manufacturing environment. xiskglj
Essential: Experience in a manufacturing or production setting Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance skills Confident with fault-finding and PPM activities A professional, team-focused approach Desirable: Experience with PLC fault finding or automation systems Familiarity with CMMS software Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent) Working Hours Rotating shifts: 06:00
