Responsibilities
- Create a monthly supply plan for certain products, considering production capacities, market requirements (demand plan), current order situation, inventory situation and inventory targets.
- Ensure product availability is correct for sales companies and avoid customer backlogs.
- Weekly coordination of the production mix with the production scheduler, considering capacity situation in the plant and current order situation.
- Adjust orders in SAP depending on the weekly plan.
- Develop countermeasures with plant and NSCs in case of availability issues.
- Cooperate closely with the sales support teams to stay up to date on current and expected developments and to smooth out production whilst maintaining the supply planning relevant master data in SAP R/3 and SAP IBP.
- Monthly preparation and implementation of the S&OP meeting, informing the NSCs about the future supply situation.
- Close cooperation with the production scheduler to ensure that the supply plan can be carried out at the factory and that the monthly and weekly agreed quantities are delivered.
- Coordinate required capacities for the coming months to provide sufficient quantity of products for the supply chain.
- Plan quantities for new phase-ins or product phase-outs in close coordination with the Group Phase-in / Phase-out Management to ensure that finished goods are available on time and the required quantities are delivered until the end of production.
Qualifications & Skills
- Professional experience in production planning, production control, brokering or supply network planning.
- Experience working in the commercial sector is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
- General IT literacy, including working knowledge of all MS applications.
- A good understanding of SAP/MM.
