You lead and support your maintenance team by coordinating daily tasks, managing absences, organising overtime and ensuring safe systems of work at all times. Your responsibilities include developing, documenting and maintaining planned maintenance schedules (PPM/TPM) to ensure plant reliability and OEM service compliance. You act as the primary contact for internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed and conducting your own periodic departmental audits. You evaluate maintenance KPIs to monitor performance and prioritise actions that strengthen overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) across the site. You lead structured root cause analysis on major breakdowns and recurring malfunctions, implementing sustainable technical and organisational improvements. You manage all contractors on site by reviewing RAMS, issuing permits, organising visits and conducting regular worksite checks to ensure safe, compliant operations.
You hold a HNC or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline and bring practical experience within a maintenance or engineering environment (desirable). You have a proven track record in fast paced production operations and understand what is required to maintain reliable, complex equipment under time critical conditions. You are familiar with automated environments; knowledge of PLCs, robotics and CMMS reporting systems is advantageous and supports you in strengthening plant performance. Experience in preventative maintenance approaches and exposure to TPM/PPM methodologies help you contribute quickly within our structured maintenance environment. You work proactively, bring a positive “can do” mindset, show flexibility when priorities shift and demonstrate a strong willingness to develop yourself and your team. You communicate clearly across departments, engage confidently with auditors and contractors, and foster strong partnerships with production, safety and engineering teams.
