Responsibilities

  • Working as a member of the maintenance team, you will provide multi-skilled engineering and maintenance cover across the facility, working on various machines throughout the Belper Plant, from automated presses through to robot arms.
  • Duties will include the completion of all routine maintenance in line with the agreed site plan.
  • Repairing and maintaining the plant and its equipment, ensuring faults are identified quickly and production down time is minimised.
  • Accurate recording of all work undertaken for compliance and audit purposes and ensuring all duties are undertaken in line with current health and safety legislation.
  • Taking part in proactive improvement projects to solve complex problems.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a multi-skilled engineer is essential.
  • A proven track record working within a fast-paced production environment is important.
  • Conversant with Programmable Logic Controller and knowledge of robots would be desirable.
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management reporting system essential.
  • Candidates must have a proactive and can-do attitude to work and a flexible approach to working hours.
