A little about the Role:
The Head of Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing strategy for Vagabond Wines, driving brand awareness, footfall, digital performance and direct-to-consumer growth across all channels. This role owns the full marketing mix, including CRM, web, digital, performance, data and insight and leads the trade planning process to ensure marketing activity supports commercial performance across bars, winery and DTC. The Head of Marketing will manage and develop the marketing team, oversee budget allocation and ensure all activity delivers measurable commercial impact while protecting and evolving the Vagabond brand.
Health & Safety Purpose: To work closely with the business to ensure health and safety systems and practices are adhered to throughout the venues through correct training and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute the annual marketing strategy to drive footfall, venue bookings, and revenue across Vagabond’s bars, winery, and DTC channels.
- Digital & CRM Strategy: Lead our digital ecosystem—including our CRM (Ometria), web platforms, and booking journeys—to grow acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value.
- Campaign & Brand Management: Oversee the 12-month marketing calendar, launching major brand moments, venue openings, agency management, and high-impact partnerships.
- Commercial & Trade Planning: Manage the annual marketing budget and partner cross-functionally with Operations, Buying, and Finance to ensure measurable ROI.
- Leadership & Insights: Mentor and build a high-performing marketing team while using KPIs and post-campaign analysis to continually test, learn, and optimize performance.
