The Role:

Senior Kitchen Assistant: At the heart of our stores are of course people who through their vibrancy & energy bring our wines to life. A Vagabond Senior Kitchen Assistant is on the up—stepping into more responsibility, supporting the Kitchen Managers, and showing off their skills. From ordering to food safety, food prep, compliance, and kitchen hygiene, you know it all (or are ready to learn it!). Watch out world, because as a Senior KA, you are the future manager of our business!

A little about the Role:

• Support the Line Like a Legend: You’ll shadow and support Kitchen Managers, helping run the kitchen smoothly even in a fast-paced environment.

• Plan, Prep, Portion, Repeat: Direct KAs, measure ingredients accurately, and ensure standardized recipes are prepped to perfection.

• Order & Inventory Pro: Help receive, store, and organize supplies, rotate stock, and assist with ordering so stock levels stay spot on.

• Mentor Junior Crew: Guide KA's, answer questions, and lead junior team members like the future manager you are.

• Captain of Hygiene & Safety: Drive food safety guidelines, keep workstations sanitised, and ensure health and safety standards are audited and met.

• Step Up in Managerial Absence: Ready to step up and run the kitchen when the manager's away with confidence and composure.
