Contract Duration: 3-4 months
Responsibilities:
- Knows and adheres to generally accepted accounting principles (US GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) as applicable.
- Oversees the functions of the accounting department, including month-end closing process, post-close balance sheet reconciliation reviews, revenue recognition, and monthly forecast submissions.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and platform skills with a strong work ethic.
- Determined to succeed and contribute.
- Ability to travel as necessary or required, which may include overnight travel.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
Qualifications:
- Qualified Accountant with a degree in accounting from a recognized university; postgraduate studies preferred.
- Experience with public companies or public accounting preferred.
- Experience coordinating with audit.
- Oracle and Workiva experience are nice to have.
