We are looking for an Assistant Hospitality Manager to join our team in London.
Location: London, SE1 2AF
Rate of Pay: £37,315.95 per annum
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, fixed term contract for 1 year
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the effective day-to-day management of a high-volume hospitality operation across 42 meeting rooms, 4 event spaces, breakfast service, lunch offer, and evening events.
- Operational Management: Support the daily running of hospitality operations, ensure all bookings and service requirements are delivered accurately, coordinate room setup, manage shifting priorities, and maintain operational readiness.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and organise a team of approximately 15 members, set clear expectations, allocate duties, lead briefings, and support training and performance management.
- Service Standards: Maintain high standards of hospitality presentation and customer service, ensure meeting rooms and event spaces are maintained, and take corrective action when necessary.
- Food Safety and Allergen Management: Ensure compliance with food safety procedures, monitor food handling and allergen management, and treat dietary requests with urgency and accuracy.
- Event and Service Coordination: Support planning and delivery of events, liaise with teams for smooth execution, and manage last-minute changes efficiently.
- Communication and Management Support: Work closely with management to support operational delivery, communicate with internal teams and stakeholders, and provide updates on service challenges.
