Rate of pay: £57,000 - £60,000 per annum
Working pattern: Monday to Friday 40 hours – 6.30/6.45am – 3/3.30pm
Location: EC2M 4UJ
Key responsibilities:
- Overall management of the kitchen operation reporting into the Executive Chef and working closely with the Chef Director
- Manage 6 Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team of 23
- To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
- To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
- To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
- To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
- Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standard
- Provide feedback and coaching on performance
- To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSHH and Food Hygiene training
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience managing a large team in a fast paced environment providing fresh food daily
- Passion for providing creative, fresh food menus daily, aware of current food trends in London
- Previous experience in contract catering would be advantageous
