We are recruiting for an experienced Head Chef to work with us.

Rate of pay: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 40 hours - 6.30/6.45am - 3/3.30pm

Location: EC2M 4UJ

Key responsibilities:

  • Overall management of the kitchen operation reporting into the Executive Chef and working closely with the Chef Director
  • Manage 6 Sous Chefs and wider kitchen team of 23
  • To prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standard
  • To ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menus
  • To develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectations
  • To be creative when menu planning and including the client and customers
  • Pride yourself on food quality and hygiene standards
  • Provide feedback and coaching on performance
  • To ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSHH and Food Hygiene training

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience managing a large team in a fast-paced environment providing fresh food daily
  • Passion for providing creative, fresh food menus daily, aware of current food trends in London
  • Previous experience in contract catering would be advantageous
