We are looking for an experienced and personable Head Barista to join our high-end investment firm site based in the City of London.

Location: City of London

Rate of Pay: £15.20 per annum

Working Pattern: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday (7:30am - 4:00pm)

About the Role: This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a premium office coffee shop operation within a professional, client-focused environment. Working as part of a small team of two, you will oversee the daily coffee operation, deliver exceptional coffee quality, and provide a polished customer experience for clients and guests. You will also support with a light breakfast set-up and occasional hospitality support for monthly events.

This role would suit someone confident, proactive and passionate about coffee and hospitality, who enjoys building strong client relationships and takes pride in maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing high-quality coffees and beverages to an exceptional standard
  • Supporting with light breakfast service and occasional hospitality events
  • Delivering a professional and welcoming customer experience
  • Maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the coffee bar area
  • Monitoring stock levels of cups, plates, and supplies
  • Operating brewing equipment and reporting any maintenance issues
  • Processing payments where required
  • Maintaining Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards at all times
  • Representing CH&CO professionally and maintaining a positive brand image
Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience as a Barista within a premium or high-volume environment
  • Confident, personable, and passionate about customer service
  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation and brewing equipment
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Proactive and able to work independently within a small team
  • Able to work calmly under pressure and manage priorities effectively
  • Reliable with excellent timekeeping and attention to detail
