We are now recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to set and operate our CNC 5 Axis machine, producing parts correct to drawing.

In addition to this as our CNC Turner you will be responsible for: Setting & Operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering specifications.

Reading and interpreting technical drawings.

Setting up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for optimal performance.

Monitoring and inspecting workpieces to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.

Performing routine maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine issues.

Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

In order to be successful in this role it's essential that you have: A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating / setting 5-axis CNC machines - Experience in CNC Turning is essential. 5 years' experience of actual machining.

It would be great if you had: IT literacy (Windows 7, MS Office).

Experience in operating a 5 Axis machine A Strong understanding of CNC programs Knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining techniques.

The ability to perform precision measurements using callipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Familiarity with Fanuc based controls; DMG Mori Celos, Mazak Mazatrol Familiarity with Heidenhain controls (TNC640) No agencies please.
