Contract: Full time, Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37 hours – An element of flexibility as to when hours are worked

We are now recruiting for a CNC Machine Operator to set and operate our CNC 5 Axis machine, producing parts correct to drawing. In addition to this as our CNC Turner you will be responsible for:

  • Setting & Operating 5-axis CNC machines to produce high-precision components according to engineering specifications.
  • Setting up tools, fixtures, and machine parameters for optimal performance.
  • Monitoring and inspecting workpieces to ensure they meet stringent quality standards.
  • Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting minor machine issues.

A minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience operating / setting 5-axis CNC machines – Experience in CNC Turning is essential.

5 years’ experience of actual machining.

IT literacy (Windows 7, MS Office).

Experience in operating a 5 Axis machine.

A Strong understanding of CNC programs.

Knowledge of materials, tooling, and machining techniques.

The ability to perform precision measurements using callipers, micrometers, and other inspection tools.

DMG Mori Celos, Mazak Mazatrol.
