We are now recruiting for a TIG Welder to assume responsibility for fabricating and welding ultra-high vacuum chambers and components, pushing the boundaries of precision engineering.
You will work closely with our Lead Technician, ensuring projects meet exacting standards and are completed within deadlines.
Additionally, as our TIG Welder / TIG Fabricator you will:
- Fabricate and TIG weld vacuum chambers, components and sub-assemblies.
- Collaborate with the Lead Technician to align work schedules and project timelines.
- Conduct quality control evaluations to ensure all products meet our high standards.
- Set up and perform leak testing using helium mass spectrometers to verify the integrity of chamber vessels.
At least 3 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience.
Proven skills in metal fabrication, including the use of precision measuring tools.
