About Us
Vaccination UK has been commissioned by NHS England since 2015 to provide school aged immunisations, including Influenza, to pupils across numerous counties across England and all boroughs of North London. We are also commissioned by NHS England in North London to provide outbreak response in the event of a vaccine preventable disease outbreak, and we provide the infant BCG programme to newborns in North London. Our mission is to fight disease and save lives by making prevention and treatment easy, accessible and safe.

- Contract: Fixed Term until
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 7:00am - 6:00pm. (7.5 hour shift per day)

Job Purpose
The post holder will be responsible for supporting the BCG Program Manager to ensure that Neonatal BCG Vaccination Appointments are delivered on time and that results are achieved in line with contract specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of Calendar BCG Clinics.
- Manage and update the staff rota to cover all administrators and nurses.
- Arrange emergency cover for staff in case of absence or sickness.
- Procurement of clinical supplies and vaccinations.
- Ensure team members are well‑trained and follow protocol.
- Handle stock audit checks and maintain supplies.
- Support the recruitment and onboarding of new recruits.
- Support BCG Program Manager undertake delegated duties.
- Collaborate with Health Visitors, GPs and Maternity Units to improve uptake.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of BCG outcomes.
- Deputise for the Program Manager as required.
- Actively and constructively contribute to team meetings.
- Undertake other duties commensurate with the level of this position.
- Comply with Company policies & procedures.
Experience / Skills
- GCSE level of education or equivalent with a minimum of grade ‘C’ in both English and Maths.
- Safeguarding trained.
- Auditing for internal and external stakeholders.
- Report generating.
- Recruitment (Interviewing/shortlisting, etc).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), organisational and time‑management skills.
- Assertive, team player and critical thinker.
- Excellent IT skills and advanced MS Excel.
