Vaccination UK Ltd. is seeking a dedicated Immunisation Nurse to join our team. We have been commissioned by NHS England since 2015 to provide school-aged immunisations, including influenza, across various counties in England and all boroughs of North London. Our mission is to fight disease and save lives by making prevention and treatment accessible, easy, and safe.

Job Details:

• Position: Immunisation Nurse
• Contract: Bank (Flexible hours, Part-time or Full-time)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am – 6:00 pm, from September to December (flu season)

Key Responsibilities:

• Support immunisation services in schools and community clinics
• Vaccinate 20-25 children per hour during flu season
• Support program management and team coordination
• Attend multiple sites as directed
• Maintain accurate records and report incidents
• Participate in audits and team meetings
• Obtain verbal consent from parents/caregivers and conduct Gillick assessments

Required Skills and Experience:

• Registered Nurse, Pharmacist, or Allied Healthcare Professional (Governing body registration required)
• Experience with immunisations, including Hepatitis B, MMR, and Varicella
• Basic Life Support certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of PGD frameworks and immunisation schedules
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Driving license (desirable)
