Contract: Bank

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm - with flexibility

Job Purpose: The postholder will be responsible for managing and administering the recruitment process for assigned areas of the business ensuring a responsive service is provided to internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the recruitment cycle providing a professional service to both key stakeholders and candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements.
  • Prepare job postings and advertisements for various platforms.
  • Assist stakeholders in screening applicants and carrying out interviews where appropriate.
  • Provide coaching to hiring managers through the process to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to select, interview and appoint.
  • Act as the main point of contact during the recruitment process ensuring clear and concise communication both internally and externally.
  • Ensure that all new starter compliance documentation and checks are completed/issued promptly.
  • Manage a high-volume recruitment campaign to support VUK in the rollout of the flu vaccines in schools across the UK.
  • Deliver best practices by adhering to processes and operations that deliver outstanding and consistent hiring experience.
  • Comply with Company policies & procedures.
  • Ad-hoc project work in line with business needs.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • Conversant with Microsoft 365.
  • Proven experience in high-volume recruitment.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Coaching and developing managers/leaders in the recruitment process and employment legislation.
  • Influencing stakeholders with regards to recruitment process and procedure.
  • Demonstrating pro-activity to ensure campaigns are fulfilled inline with KPI’s.
