Vaccination UK has been commissioned by NHS England since 2015 to provide school aged immunisations, including Influenza, to pupils across numerous counties across England and all boroughs of North London. We are also commissioned by NHS England in North London to provide outbreak response in the event of a vaccine preventable disease outbreak, and we provide the infant BCG programme to newborns in North London. Our mission is to fight disease and save lives by making prevention and treatment easy, accessible and safe.

- Working Hours: Monday to Friday between 9.00 am - 5.00 pm (37.5 hours per week)

JOB PURPOSE
The postholder will provide key administrative support across the HR function, managing employee lifecycle documentation, responding to HR queries, and ensuring compliance with policies and legal requirements. They will also support recruitment activity during peak periods.
Key Accountabilities
HR Administration
- Monitor and manage the HR inbox, triaging and responding to queries promptly and professionally.
- Provide accurate and timely administrative support throughout the employee lifecycle, including:
- Probation reviews/letters
- Employment contracts and contract changes
- Resignation acknowledgements and leaver processing
- Payroll changes and notifications
- Reference requests
- Exit Interviews
- General HR queries
Recruitment Support
- Post job advertisements across relevant platforms.
- Coordinate and track compliance checks (e.g. right to work, DBS clearance) in line with internal procedures.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking.
- Prepare and issue new starter documentation.
- Support completion of pre-employment checks.
- Create employee profiles on HRIS.
- Provide admin support for high-volume recruitment campaigns (e.g. flu vaccination programme).
- Ensure clear and timely communication with candidates and hiring managers.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge & Skills
- Experience in an admin role.
- Ideally CIPD Level 3 but not essential.
- Conversant with Microsoft 365.
- Experience within HR administrative duties.
- Experience in high-volume recruitment.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Working in a fast-paced environment.
Skills
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data accuracy.
