Blue Arrow is proud to support a leading manufacturing client in Belper (DE56), a worldwide leader in water heating systems assembly.

We are recruiting experienced production operatives with backgrounds in assembly and manufacturing for ongoing roles. Opportunities for upskilling and training are available after starting on-site as a flexible worker.

Applicants must live locally or be able to drive and have access to their own vehicle due to the location and shift requirements.

This is a full-time role; applications from those not eligible to work more than 38 hours per week will not be considered.

Responsibilities:

1. Work to timed targets while ensuring quality.
2. Report issues with machinery or goods on the assembly line.
3. Set up and use machinery safely, working with hand tools.
4. Adhere to health and safety standards and work safely at all times.
5. Work on an assembly line assembling goods in a factory environment.

Candidate Profile:

1. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and works efficiently.
2. Follows instructions carefully and precisely.
3. Enjoys systematic and productive work.
4. Has a keen eye for detail and can perform tasks consistently, noticing errors.
5. Possesses good communication skills and works well within a team.

8. Maintains concentration on repetitive tasks and workload.
9. Learns and applies quality assurance practices.
10. Is self-motivated and driven by targets.
11. Has previous assembly and production experience (essential).

Pay Rates:

Starting from £13.17/hour (up to £16.63) on morning shift, and from £15.01/hour (up to £18.47) on afternoon shift, with pay increasing with length of service.

Shifts:

• Morning: Monday-Thursday 06:00-14:30, Friday 06:00-12:00
• Afternoon: Monday-Thursday 14:30-23:00, Friday 12:00-18:00

Flexibility to cover two shift rotations is required.
