The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join them at a time of significant innovation and growth within their Personal Injury Law offering. As part of the team, you'll work closely with the Head of Personal Injury, the Personal Injury Content Specialist, and the Personal Injury Product Manager and Development Team to shape the product that support thousands of Personal Injury lawyers in their day-to-day practice.

This role goes beyond traditional fee-earning. You'll play a key part in translating your legal expertise into practical, technology-driven solutions. Your work will directly influence how Personal Injury law is practised, improving efficiency, consistency, and client outcomes.

What you'll do

  • Support the Head of Personal Injury in developing and expanding the Personal Injury law practice offerings.
  • Develop your industry profile through thought leadership and by representing the Personal Injury Vertical both internally & externally as and when required. Some travel will be expected.
  • Regular meetings with User Firms. Act as an intermediary between user firms and the Product Manager and Content Specialist to refine our Personal Injury Product offering.
  • Working with the Legal Content Specialist to Contribute to the design and refinement of legal content, workflows, and precedents within the platform.
  • Review and support the Legal Content Specialist to build and refine the prompt library.
  • Working with the Legal Content Specialist to Help draft and refine the precedents within the Personal Injury Law area, to ensure they best suit customer needs.
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and innovation within Personal Injury law workflows.
  • Stay up to date with developments in Personal Injury law and ensure content reflects current legislation and practice.
  • Undertake / contribute to any other ad-hoc projects / tasks as and when required.

What you'll bring

  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with at least 3 -6 years PQE (or at least 5 years carrying a caseload) in Personal Injury law (ideally Associate or Senior Associate level).
  • Strong technical expertise across a broad range of Personal Injury law matters (ideally in EL, OL/PL, RTA, with exposure to clinical negligence and / or Industrial disease type work ).
  • An ability to work collaboratively with the Content Specialist to create targeted content and prompts and analyse the output.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent drafting and analytical skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work independently
  • Strong interpersonal / communication skills and ability to collaborate with non-legal teams and Client firms / users.
  • Enthusiasm for legal technology and improving how legal services are delivered.

Desirable:

  • Experience and understanding of the OIC and MOJ Portals, as well as Fast track, Intermediate track, and multi track work (Both pre lit and post lit) to include an up to date understanding of budgeting in the Multi-track.
  • Experience developing precedents, templates, and legal know-how resources.
  • Exposure to legal tech, document automation, or case management systems.
  • Interest or experience in innovation, process improvement, or legal operations.
  • Significant experience of Personal Injury litigation, both PART 7 and PART 8, and detailed assessment proceedings.
  • Previous involvement in training, mentoring, or knowledge sharing within a team.
