Key Responsibilities: The Senior Program Officer will:
- Lead and manage a portfolio of grants and research investments.
- Develop investment strategies for maternal health innovations.
- Provide scientific leadership in pregnancy‑related health conditions.
- Work closely with grantees and research partners.
- Oversee research quality, ethics, and scientific rigor.
- Support budgeting, monitoring, and portfolio management.
- Translate research findings into policy and implementation strategies.
- Represent the Foundation at scientific meetings and international forums.
- Collaborate with governments, industry, and global partners to scale impactful solutions.
Eligibility Requirements: Applicants should have:
- An advanced degree (PhD, DrPH, MD, OB/GYN, or equivalent).
- Expertise in obstetrics, maternal‑fetal medicine, endocrinology, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in maternal health research or clinical practice.
- Strong knowledge of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and/or gestational diabetes.
- Experience in drug development, clinical research, or grant management.
- Knowledge of Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research ethics.
- Excellent communication and partnership‑building skills.
- Experience working with global or low‑and‑middle‑income country health programs is highly desirable.
