We are one of the largest and most respected technology businesses in the Cambridgeshire area. Due to a change in structure within the business, we are recruiting a temporary position to primarily support marketing activities, as well as certain sales support functions.

The Candidate

We are looking for a versatile and creative Sales and Marketing Coordinator who is hungry to add value to our marketing and sales teams. Our ideal candidate has experience dealing with creative agencies to develop marketing assets for communication channels including:

  • Point of sale (flyers/posters/pull-up banners)
  • Digital and Social (organic and paid)
  • Trade Shows/Exhibitions
  • Emails
  • Print advertising

They will be comfortable with day-to-day Digital and Social marketing activities, as well as creating more traditional advertising assets, thriving with tight deadlines and changing needs. This role will suit an enthusiastic marketer who has experience in multi-channel environments. They will need to be comfortable within the digital arena and be energised by the prospect of creating exciting and engaging content to suit all marketing channels. This role will also be assisting the Sales Support Manager in daily tasks to support the sales function of the business, including raising invoices and arranging the shipping of goods. Key Responsibilities

  • Work with our external creative agency to design and implement key marketing assets, in both print and digital channels
  • Comfortable with creating organic local content for Meta
  • Serve as the main contact for the sales team in developing Point of Sale to support our products in store, including flyers, posters, banners and other ad-hoc requirements
  • Work with the HQ team to develop monthly emails for both the hunting and nature segment
  • Key support in planning and executing exhibitions and external events. This will require a small amount of travel in the UK
  • Support the sales team with marketing requirements for their dealers
  • Placing orders
  • Raising Commercial Invoices for returns to Germany
  • Receiving and shipping of goods from the office
  • Help in arranging stock and general requests for Consumer Optics shows/events
  • General administration duties

In order to succeed in this role, you will have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience developing creatives for multiple marketing channels, both on and offline
  • Skills and experience in creative content writing
  • Microsoft Office skills at intermediate level are essential
  • SAP experience is preferred but not essential
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not essential
  • Must be able to work quickly and efficiently in a pressurised environment with a good work ethic
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Adaptable and comfortable with a varied role
  • Able to work within tight timescales and comfortable in a fast-paced role
  • Driver's licence is essential
