Cleaner, Set Hours 6am to 1pm, Mon to Fri, Driver
We're looking for a reliable cleaner to join our team in York, working Monday to Friday, 6am to 1pm, around 35 hours a week.
The hours are set and the sites are the same every week, so you always know where you are. No evenings, no weekends, and your afternoons are your own.
You would work alongside one of our supervisors who has been with us for years and knows every site inside out, so nobody gets dropped in at the deep end. Full training, uniform and all equipment provided.
The work is a mix of offices and communal areas in York, with a house clean twice a week. You need a full UK driving licence and your own car, as you drive between sites during the shift. Mileage is paid at 55p a mile and your travel time between jobs is paid as well.
Cleaning experience is useful but not essential. What matters more is being reliable, thorough and happy working as part of a small team.
We're VA Cleaning, a York business, and we were named Commercial Cleaning Company of the Year, Yorkshire 2025-26.
