At V7, we’re building AI platforms that help humans do their best work, at incredible scale and speed. Our mission is to turn human knowledge into trustworthy AI, making complex tasks faster, smarter, and more accurate. We’re growing fast, backed by leading investors and AI pioneers (including the minds behind Transformers and Gemini).
The Product: V7 Darwin is a data labelling and annotation platform built for teams that create high-quality training data for AI. It's the part of V7 that turns raw data (images, video, medical scans, documents) into the labelled datasets that machine learning models actually need to learn from.
The team you'll be joining and impact you'll have: You'll own the entire revenue line for Darwin, V7's data labeling product. It's a substantial book of enterprise customers, with a meaningful portion under your direct management as a senior IC. Reporting into Alberto, V7's co-founder, you'll operate with the autonomy of a mini-CRO running a $xM business inside V7. No layer of sales management in between. You'll work alongside our customer success manager on customer-facing work and have engineering available on a request basis for feature builds and customer-led product changes. The book skews heavily toward life sciences and healthcare, with some huge enterprise customers.
What you'll be doing from day one:
- Retaining ARR across the Darwin book, balancing churn management on smaller accounts with strategic upsells, expansion and renewals on the core.
- Owning the commercial side of selling our platform and subsequent labeling services, including negotiations with both customers and the labeling supply chain.
- Spotting adjacent services opportunities (with Frontier AI labs or huge services businesses) and pulling them into pipeline.
- Influencing what gets built on Darwin by surfacing customer-led feature requests and partnering with engineering on priorities.
Who you are:
- 5+ years in account management or commercial roles owning existing customers, not new business hunting. Strong renewals and expansion track record.
- Warm, tech-enabled, comfortable selling to technical buyers. Bonus if you've sold into pharma, medtech or life sciences. A science degree helps but isn't required.
- Scrappy and entrepreneurial. You'd rather own a big book and make the calls yourself than sit inside a managed pod.
- Background in data processing would be an advantage. That could be data labelling, RPA, IDP, structured/unstructured data, database management or similar technical and services-heavy software.
V7 champions equality and inclusion because diverse teams build better products. Don't check every box? Apply anyway — we value what makes you unique and will support you through the process, just let our Talent team know how they can help.
