V7 are working with a leading engineering client who operate in the Utility Industry and other industries. They are undergoing significant growth and expanding all areas of the business. They are looking to take on a Project Engineer (Mechanical) on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving business and be part of the ongoing success. On offer is a salary of Β£44,000-Β£50,000 plus car/allowance and benefits. You will play an imperative role in the forward growth of the business and you will have significant opportunities to progress.
Key duties:
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical works on assigned projects
- Monitor progress against programme and report on status, risks, and issues
- Coordinate mechanical activities with electrical, civil, and other disciplines
- Assist with subcontractor management and site coordination
- Review mechanical designs, drawings, and technical submissions
- Coordinate design development with consultants and design teams
- Resolve technical queries (RFIs) and support buildability reviews
- Ensure works comply with HSE legislation and company procedures
