V7 Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Commercial Manager to join our client - a leading specialist in full building envelope solutions. This is a senior role offering the opportunity to lead projects and mentor a developing commercial team within a fast-paced environment.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager within construction
  • Strong contractual knowledge including JCT and NEC contracts
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent client management, negotiation and reporting skills
  • Quantity Surveying qualification (HNC/HND or Degree level preferred)
  • Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Experience within façades, glazing, cladding or main contracting advantageous

Key Duties:

  • Manage commercial and contractual aspects of construction projects
  • Prepare CVRs, budgets, cashflow forecasts and tender documentation
  • Monitor project costs, variations and change control
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors and project delivery teams
  • Procure subcontractors and manage valuations/payments
  • Attend site meetings and support project delivery
  • Lead and manage direct reports within the commercial team
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and company procedures
