V7 are looking for experienced Installation Project / Service Engineers on behalf of a leading electronic security systems specialist operating across the commercial sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for long-term contract work with competitive rates and consistent projects.
The role will involve the installation, commissioning, servicing and maintenance of integrated electronic security systems across commercial sites throughout the west London and M4 corridor area.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and commissioning of CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarm, AV and integrated security systems
- Service and maintenance works across commercial sites
- Working with networked systems including routers, switches and servers
- Liaising with clients, IT departments and suppliers on-site
- Supporting and coordinating subcontractors and engineers where required
- Completing service calls, small works and project installations
- Ensuring works are completed in line with health & safety and industry standards
Experience Required
- Strong background in CCTV and Access Control systems
- Experience with integrated security systems and networking
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks, routers and switches beneficial
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
- Strong communication and client-facing skills
- Previous commercial installation/service experience essential
Contract Details
- 6 month rolling contract
- Day rates starting from £260 per day
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
- Door-to-door pay
- Weekly payments
- Outside IR35
- Payments available via Ltd Company or Self-Employed/Sole Trader
