We are looking for an experienced Associate CSA Project Manager / Owner’s Representative to join a rapidly growing team delivering hyperscale data centre projects across the Nordics. You will play a key role in delivering major data centre construction projects in Finland and Norway. You can be based either 100% in-country, or there will be significant international travel to Finland or Norway (11/3 Rotation).

You’ll be responsible for managing all stages of hyperscale data centre construction projects, taking projects through pre-construction, construction, and close out / fit-up.

Pre-construction

  • Working with the client and general contractor to create and establish the Master Project Schedule and Master Project Budget
  • Supporting contractor pre-qualification, bid solicitation, bid analysis, and recommendations
  • Supporting contract negotiations
  • Assisting the client team in identifying, scoping, buying out, and scheduling all owner-direct vendors and consultants

Construction

  • Managing the General Contractor and other directly contracted vendors on site
  • Coordinating Value Engineering efforts during the construction phase
  • Working with the client’s commercial and project controls teams to develop budget management and tracking
  • Liaising with the client’s schedule management team to provide schedule monitoring, tracking, and analysis

Close Out / Fit-Up

  • Initiating close out processes prior to project completion, typically two to three months in advance
  • Establishing close out documentation requirements with the client’s document controller and tracking receipt of all close out documentation including warranties, as-builts, O&M manuals, etc.
  • Assisting with city and/or authority final inspections and occupancy processes
  • Assisting the client in scheduling, coordination, and management of all owner-direct vendors and consultants

You will bring:

  • An in-depth understanding of large-scale technical projects and construction techniques
  • Ability to manage multiple technical disciplines
  • Experience working on data centre new build and refurbishment projects, preferably hyperscale builds
  • Ability to commit to significant international travel or relocation
  • Strong stakeholder management and client-facing experience
