We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Estimator to join a well-established organisation specialising in electronic security systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a wide range of commercial and university projects, with long-term contract stability and the potential to move into a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and competitive cost estimates and tenders for security system installations
- Work across systems including: Access Control, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Nurse Call Systems
- Review technical drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to gather project requirements
- Obtain and evaluate supplier/subcontractor quotations
- Identify risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost efficiencies
- Support bid submissions and ensure deadlines are met
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Estimator or Senior Estimator within Security Systems
- Strong knowledge of access control, CCTV, and intruder systems
- Experience pricing commercial, healthcare, or education sector projects
- Ability to interpret drawings and technical specifications
- Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
