We are currently supporting a major international contractor in the appointment of a Senior Commercial Manager to join the leadership team on a significant construction programme in Denmark. This position will take responsibility for the commercial performance of a portfolio of projects, providing strategic commercial leadership, driving financial performance and supporting the successful delivery of complex, high-value construction works. The successful candidate will operate as a key member of the senior project team, working closely with operational leadership, project directors and commercial teams to ensure robust commercial governance, effective risk management and strong project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial management of multiple projects from pre-construction through to final account.
  • Provide strategic commercial leadership across project teams, ensuring consistency of approach and adherence to best practice.
  • Oversee project reporting, forecasting, cost control and cashflow management.
  • Review, negotiate and manage contractual obligations with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
  • Identify commercial risks and opportunities and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
  • Support tendering, procurement and contract negotiation activities.
  • Drive commercial performance through effective management of change, variations and entitlement recovery.
