Job Title: Security Systems Subcontract Engineer (CCTV, Access Control, Intruder)

Location: Kingston, Surrey
Contract Type: Subcontract (Outside IR35)
Duration: 6 Months
Start Date: ASAP
Day Rate: Starting from 265 per day.
Working Days: Minimum 2 days/week (ideally 3), including Wednesday, Thursday & Friday

Overview:

We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Security Systems Subcontract Engineer to support ongoing service work across CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems in the Kingston, Surrey area. The role is largely focused on Kingston Hospital and surrounding area\'s.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform break-fix and PPM (Planned Preventative Maintenance) work across client sites, with a primary focus on Kingston Hospital.
  • Deliver high-quality service and system support for CCTV, Access Control (especially ACT), and Intruder alarm systems.
  • Provide professional, clear feedback to clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure minimal disruption to sensitive environments (e.g. hospitals).
  • Maintain professional documentation and reporting.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the wider team.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience servicing and maintaining CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
  • Strong knowledge of Milestone is desirable.
  • Experience with ACT Access Control systems.
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills.
  • Self-sufficient and proactive with the ability to take ownership of the work area.
  • Familiarity with working on healthcare sites or similarly complex environments is advantageous.
