Job Description
Location: Ideally Midlands-based (national travel required)
Contract: 3-month rolling contract
Start: ASAP
Status: Outside IR35
Pay: Competitive day rate
Payment: Weekly – every Friday
We are currently seeking an experienced Passive Fire Contracts Manager to oversee multiple live projects on behalf of a leading contractor working across Tier 1 construction projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and organised professional to take ownership of high-profile passive fire packages across several sites nationwide.
The Role You will be responsible for the management and delivery of passive fire protection works across up to six live sites, ensuring quality, compliance, and programme targets are met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing site teams and subcontractors
- Ensuring works meet FIRAS / BM TRADA / industry compliance standards
- Liaising with main contractors, clients, and internal teams
- Managing programmes, quality inspections, and handovers
- Supporting commercial and reporting requirements
Requirements
- Proven experience in passive fire contracts management
- SMSTS or SSSTS (essential)
- Happy to travel nationally and stay away when required
- Ideally based in the Midlands for ease of travel
- Full manual driving licence
- Professional, organised, and confident dealing with Tier 1 contractors
