V7 Recruitment are looking for a Design Manager or an Assistant Design Manager who is close to stepping up, to join a growing main contractor in the North West!

Ideal candidate:
- Have a strong technical design background
- Understand design workflows, consultant coordination, and Building Regulations
- Are confident dealing with BSR / gateway requirements for higher-risk buildings
- Comfortable managing the design process through pre-construction and delivery
Duties include:
- Working across 2–3 live projects at any one time, each at different stages of detail.
- Liaising closely with architects, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure design intent is achieved.
- Reviewing and managing design risk and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensuring compliance with legislation and H&S best practice.
